Better Symbols (Final Form, I think!)


The main update here is that I figured out a better way to make the symbols.  Instead of having symbols appear on all nearby bubbles, the game tracks what direction the bubble is headed and displays the appropriate symbol if the bubble would combine with another given its current heading.  This means that only one symbol can appear for each moving bubble.  (Recall that you can move more than one bubble at a time.)  I think it is a lot cleaner this way.  Since there is only one symbol, I greatly increased the size of the symbol, so it can be easily seen even at the highest levels.  

I also fixed a few other things that you may not even notice.  There was a catastrophic bug that was introduced because of the goodbye message that pops up, as well as some cosmetic bugs.  These are all fixed.  

I also adjusted how it determines which bubble you intend to grab if your touch is near more than one.  It should make a more intuitive choice now in edge cases.  Before it would be a little too zealous to make you grab the smaller of the two bubbles.  

I really do think it is complete now.  The files for all platforms have been updated.  

My next goals will be to get this game on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

P. S.  If you have any suggestions, feel free to send them to me.  I heard one recently, which is to have a mode where two players can play head-to-head on the same puzzle from two different phones.  This is a great idea, but I really don't know how to do that right now.
